Karen Fox, Executive Director
Karen is a self-proclaimed software nerd, photographic artist & crazy cat lady. She lives in rural Lyles, TN with her husband and two of her three children (proud Air Force mom!) She is most at home in her quiet neck of the woods but loves to travel and discover new places. When at home, there is usually a cat on her lap (and a dog snoring on the floor) while editing images.
She specializes in crafting artistic portraits for people and pets.
She loves to “shop local” to help support fellow business owners, and donates time and services to civic and rescue organizations.
She has served on the board of TNPPA for the last four consecutive years. She recently earned her Master of Photography degree with PPA, was named an IPC Gold Medalist in 2021, has earned Tennessee Certified and Service degrees, as well as 2020 Photographer of the Year and several Tennessee Top Ten awards.
She regularly engages in continuing education, is an active member of several professional organizations, and competes regularly in state, national, and international image competitions.
Karen’s superpower is discovering what is unique about someone and then connecting them to others. “Through community and collaboration, we can solve most of the world’s problems by focusing on what connects us.”
