Jonathan Snorten (Artist & Entrepreneur)

Jonathan Snorten born February 2, 1977, in Robertson County, Springfield TN is an American artist and entrepreneur. He has started thriving companies in the Nashville area like, Jonathan’s Photography and Design, Suite 244 studios, Nashville Corporate Media and John Micheal Exclusive Wardrobe. He is currently the owner of all four companies with a total of 26 years in business.

Jonathan serves as Elder and Deacon in Judah Temple of Praise Ministries here in Nashville TN. He is also a member of Sumner Business Exchange. For over ten years Jonathan has managed his own mentorship program with MNPS students giving them opportunities to discover their dreams in photography, graphic design and fashion. He also holds the office of media and image consultant with Transformation Life Center which is one of Nashville’s leaders in helping young students and youth living in underserved communities with education, leadership, mental health and wellness. 

Early life and schooling

Following in the footsteps of his father John Elder Snorten, Jonathan pursued his career in the arts and graduated from Springfield High School in 1995. He studied commercial art at Nossi College of Art where he received an associate degree in 1998. Jonathan also attended Emmanuel Bible College and received an associate degree in Christian Education. Fashion was always a passion of his and that drove him to attend IADT College and study fashion design for a few semesters. Jonathan teaches to this day photography workshops as well as Sunday school and Bible class.

Career

Jonathan launched Jonathan’s photography in 1998, servicing and providing the community with moments captured to last a lifetime. About ten years after college Jonathan found a position with a company called signs now which currently is called Image360 in Hendersonville TN as senior graphic designer. Jonathan studied the ways of business under the owner Brian Thomas for years and took great advice from Brian and applied it to his future companies. He expanded his business by opening suite 244 studios where other photographers could utilize the facility for photography and videography needs. Later in his career Jonathan decided to open a men’s clothing store with longtime friend Michael Mckissick called John Michael Exclusive Wardrobe located in Madison Tn. Now Jonathan has started a new company in 2024 called Nashville Corporate Media that targets all corporate businesses bringing a new look and creativity to the industry.
